Joy Fabien

Originally from New York, Joy Fabien began her studies in Early Childhood Education at Pace University.  While working at a leading department store to pay for her education, she was quickly promoted from sales & merchandising to Assistant Operational Store Manager.  Joy controlled operational functions for eleven departments, as well as, trained new operational managers to oversee their own stores in the New York Tri-State Area. Subsequently, her figure aptitude led to a career in the financial industry since 1996.   

For the next 16 years, Joy performed financial services for business management firms such as Provident Financial Management, ML Management Associates, Inc. and Starr & Company, LLC as an Accounting Manager for high profile and high net worth clientele, including but not limited to, comedians, actors and musicians, primarily focusing on complex tours and live performances worldwide.

In 2006, Joy’s multi-faceted experience steered to being the Accounting and Operations Manager for a private proprietorship with a net worth of over $30 million.  Joy handled all day to day financial and operational systems across multiple locations.   She was accustomed to evaluating complex circumstances and strategizing appropriate solutions while preparing and analyzing elaborate accounting records, business operating and personal budgets.  In 2012, Joy relocated to Virginia to continue maintaining those strong relationships and pursuing investment properties and negotiating property improvements through 2018 for this private proprietorship.

Joy joined our team in 2019, preparing intricate accounting records and various other assignments with a cost-conscious approach. 

Joy also volunteers with the American Veterans Ball, as part of the Finance and Production Team.  This volunteer work has combined her passion for numbers with the finesse of coordinating a socially memorable event for Veterans and their guests.
