Mehak is an experienced Staff Accountant with Sangha CPA, PC. Mehak has more than 7 years of experience working with medium-sized businesses. Her focus has been on state and federal based government consulting firms.

In 2009, Mehak joined Sangha CPA and provided financial advisory services to a government consulting firm in Fairfax. She worked directly with the CFO and the executive board to create financial statements, budgets and created & implemented state & federal compliance system. Her performance was applauded when she streamlined and implemented financial business processes in place by crafting automated custom financial models and tools. Mehak was provided additional responsibility to set up the firm’s legal and tax status in Italy, Germany and UK. In 2014, she assisted in the merger of the firm and transition of the financial system.

Next, Mehak consulted as a Financial Management Consultant with the FAA and handled the Real Estate Property Management Portfolio. She concentrated on business process re-engineering, policy creation and implementation. Mehak’s other focus included SharePoint development and training for the stakeholders.

Mehak graduated Cum Laude in Bachelors of Science in Business Administration (BS) with emphasis on Finance from Carroll University, Wisconsin. Mehak then went on to earn her Masters of Arts (MA) from The George Washington University, DC in Organizational Sciences with emphasis on Management at the top of the class.

Mehak is passionate about entrepreneurship and volunteers for the 3 Day Startup project. In addition, Mehak dedicates her time to volunteering for the Indian Cultural and Educational Center. She spends her time bringing attention to the issues faced by international students and finding solutions by involving the community.
